MacNMR
MacNMR is a graphical NMR spectroscopist tool for teaching/understanding
pulse sequences for homonuclear or heteronuclear spin systems.
MacNMR was developed at the University of Alberta in the Brian Sykes
lab in 1986. It consists of two programs (one to simulate homonuclear
spin systems and the other for heteronuclear) which may still run on
Macintosh computers.
Funding for the development of MacNMR came from the Medical
Research Council of Canada.
Availability
We have stored MacNMR in the self extracting archive format. Just
double click the file to create the binaries. Hopefully your browser can

Program Notes
-
We have also included a small manual/tutorial in the
archive which helps explain the programs (some diagrams
referenced in the manual are no longer available).
-
The "print" command only works for line printers (they didn't
have cheap laserwriters back then)! We now use a program called
Screensnap (from Kowledge Source Inc) which allows one to
dump images of the screen.
-
We have no intention of making revisions to the product in
the future.
-
This is very old software, I am not sure why you want to download
this except for nostalgic purposes.
