Smartnotebook: pipp_nav

Clicking the "pipp_nav" menu item under "Options" shows the following popup window.

1. The pipp_nav software is very interesting for those users who have a chemical shifts file of a similar protein. It is relatively easy for users to see how proposed chemical shifts in smartnotebook compare with the previously assigned protein.

   Now orb is very similar software, however pipp_nav is simpler to use and shows shift comparisons graphically which many users will prefer. If you constantly assign nmr spectra using previous assignments as a reference, learn how to use pipp_nav!

2. The pipp_nav software is third party software courtesy of the lab of Stéphane Gagné. The webpage for pipp_nav is at

   Help pages are included when the software is started. Please contact the authors of pipp_nav if you have questions on its usage or bugs to report.

3. I do not have a tutorial at this time that shows smartnotebook and pipp_nav working together, this will be on my list.
