Current Chain Panel

The Current Chain panel displays all the connections which make up the current chain. Again, the first 2 columns are allocated for a "current selection cursor" (denoted as "->") which identifies the corresponding connection in the connections panel . In the example above, you can see that "Start" is the current selection, thus any entries displayed in the connection panel can be potentially added to the beginning of the current chain.

Clicking on the "Start" and "End" items of the chain allows the user to see what connections can be added to either end of the chain. Clicking the first or last connection in a chain is also important, it allows the user to see the connections which can replace the end of the chain, or the user may wish to select an endpoint connection for deletion. Finally, the user can select a connection in the middle of a chain for viewing purposes.

The current chain panel is nicely organized in sequential order for quick parsing of a chain. Additional information for a specific connectivity is shown in the connections panel .

Question: What does it mean when the connection panel is empty when I hit "Start" or "End" and I expect a connectivity? See Missing Connections .
