The Nanuc 800 spectrometer.

NANUC 800 System

The Nanuc 800 was brought online in 2000.

Magnet

  • 18.8T 63mm Oxford magnet (2.2K)

Console

  • Varian INOVA console
  • X, Y, Z gradients
  • 4 complete channels with waveform generators
  • 1000 W amplifier for 13C (channel #2)
  • 1000 W amplifier for 15N (channel #3)
  • 400 W amplifier for 2H (channel #4)

Probes

  • 5mm HCN - xyz gradient
  • 3mm HCN z-gradient (High Salt)
  • 5mm Broad Band z-gradient
  • 5mm HCN Cold Probe
  • MAS T3 HX Balum Solids

Computer & Power

  • SUN Ultra-10 with 24"-monitor
  • 3kVa UPS for magnet pumps
  • 7.5 kVa UPS for console
  • HONDA generator for extended power failure

Fill Schedule

The NANUC 800 is filled with liquid Nitrogen every tuesday on a weekly basis and with liquid Helium every 3 weeks. Below are the dates for liquid Helium fills to the end of January 2008.

Fill Schedule

Weekly data for cryogen levels, flow rates and bath temperatures can be found in the magnet status report.

Data on overall magnet stability can be viewed in the monitoring output.
