Aug 8/11 - This software is meant to be used when the homologs in your database have only a few residue substitutions. Notice that the sofware does not even ask for the amino acid sequence. Although a future version of this software could reconcile residue substitution (eg, via the original ORB software) there is still the issue of accounting for changes to chemical shift of the adjacent residues. We do not expect to extend the software to account for this complexity any time soon.

Aug 8/11 - (for those people with access to partial least squares simulation software)
Although orbplus can suggest which residues are best for prediction on structure, the PLS model has the advantage of using multivariate methods and error analysis. The part of PLS which is lacking is being able to visualize why these are the best correlated residues and how we can use this information in structure prediction. Therefore, orbplus can help in the evaluation of the PLS results.

Jul 15/11 - release v1.1.2 - See release notes for changes.

Aug 24/10 - release v1.0.6 - See release notes for changes.
